Perversity
Logo and card design for a university night at the GPO Hotel in Brisbane, Queensland.
Production & process
With the brief to produce a logo and card which needed to be bold, but ‘commercially viable’ at the same time – I jumped right in. Keeping in mind that that this was aimed at an audience aged between 18-25, I needed to make sure it was something eye catching and contemporary.
Drawing inspiration from the 80s graphics and colours, as well as from the retro typography from contemporary graphic designers – I came up with a logo and card using bright bold colours and a cursive font for the logo.

Fluxe
A poster designed for a club night at the GPO Hotel
Production & process
Fluxe posters already had a well established style which I was able to draw upon. Previous designers had played upon the hand drawn style of the logo. The boxing glove with the multicoloured blood came about by the ‘dj vs dj’ aspect of the event.

Vigil Tech
Branding and identity package for a Sydney based IT company.
Production & process
Coming back on the scene after the dot com crash in the late 90s, Vigil Tech approached me to reinvigorate their brand identity.
After an initial meeting with Vigil Tech, I was told that they wanted logo with a maximum of six colours and to present them with three different logos for them to choose from. Over two days I prepared the three logos for the next meeting. Vigil Tech selected their favourite of the three and told me produce a business card, letterhead, faxhead and logo and colour usage guideline.
